Today I bring you a very pretty festival themed wedding from the lovely Jaye and Matt from Tux and Tales. Isy & Chris the happy couple named their wedding ‘Wedfest’ incorporating lots of festival themes into their day. From the 1960s wedding dress to the flower crown, VW Beatle, the hay bales, picnic wedding breakfast, fish and chip van and the massive party that carried on late into the night, this wedding is FULL of wonderful festival touches! A super relaxed and chilled out day for a very happy couple.
Jaye has been kind enough to tell is a bit more about the day………..
Isy & Chris had a beautifully relaxed festival themed day on the 20th of July. All the little details were attended to – from the stunning dried flower bouquet and headband to the authentic 1960’s wedding dress – everything was just a little bit Glastonbury! The picnic style meal was gorgeous with loads of fresh ingredients made from scratch and served up in beautiful hampers on the tables. After a fabulous church ceremony we hopped over to Flatford Mill for a few photos. The staff at Flatford were fantastic and the man running the boat hire even let us have a use of one of his row boats for a few minutes. It was super special for Isy as she had spent so much time at Flatford Mill as a little girl. Plus, you can’t get more scenic than the location of a Constable painting! There were loads of hay bales and plenty of music to go around as everyone partied the evening away. When you think of a perfectly friendly, relaxed day – this is the kind of wedding you would imagine.
